How long is my first aid certificate valid for?
CPR (HLTAID009) is valid for 12 months and should be refreshed annually as recommended by the Australian Resuscitation Council. First Aid (HLTAID011) and Childcare First Aid (HLTAID012) are valid for 3 years, but the CPR component within them must still be renewed every 12 months. Tourism, hospitality, and water-sports employers may set stricter renewal schedules under their insurance or licensing requirements.
Can international students enrol?
Yes — international students and working holiday visa holders can enrol in our nationally accredited courses, including HLTAID009, HLTAID011, and HLTAID012.
