First Aid Certification In Ringwood

First Aid Pro (Registered Training Organisation: 31124) is a national RTO supported by the Australian College of Nursing (ACN) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

Our training courses also adhere to the standards established by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and the Australian and New Zealand Resuscitation Committee (ANZCOR).

An important part of first aid training is learning how to do things in real life, to be able to apply theory in a practical way. Because it takes time to learn any skill, getting your first aid licence and keeping your skills up to date is important. You can demonstrate to current and prospective employers that you know how to give first aid with a nationally recognised certificate that you will get the same day you finish the course.

First Aid Courses In Ringwood

Provide CPR

CPR is an important life-saving skill that needs to be practised often. Provide CPR is an important first aid training course because it lets you help someone who is having trouble breathing without hesitation.

For this course, you’ll do a real activity in class and then a test on what you have learned. For the in-person study, the knowledge test is given in class, which makes for two-hour class time while the knowledge test can be done online, only taking an hour.

Includes:

  • HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (supersedes HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation)

Provide First Aid

Provide First Aid explains the basic steps of first aid that should be taken in emergencies, the seriousness of which can be greatly reduced by giving first aid immediately.

Students can do the knowledge-testing tasks in-class or online before the practice, then students are then directed to apply their new learned skills in a practical exercise. If you want to do everything in class, the face-to-face lesson with a teacher lasts for 6 hours and is the option we find most students opt for. People who like to learn online can use the fast online course to study and take tests before going to a two-hour class with a teacher.

Includes:

  • HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (supersedes HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
  • HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support (supersedes HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support)
  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid (includes CPR) (supersedes HLTAID003 Provide first aid)

Emergency First Aid

People working in childcare and schooling must know how to give first aid as part of their job. The Emergency first aid course Ringwood training is great for people who work in childcare or education because it focuses a lot on helping kids and babies.
Before students can give first aid during their in-class practice lesson, they must go over all the theory they need to know to do it. If you choose the fast online course, you will spend 2 hours in class; if you choose the face-to-face course, you will spend 7 hours there.

Includes:

  • HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
  • HLTAID010 – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
  • HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
