Provide CPR

The Provide CPR course comprises a practical session and knowledge assessment to ensure students can deliver effective CPR in emergencies.

Both assessments will be conducted in class and run for two hours combined in the face-to-face course.

Students that prefer learning via the internet can opt for the express online course, which allows them to complete the knowledge assessment remotely before attending a one-hour practical session.

We recognise the importance of CPR and encourage students to regularly update their training and stay prepared for potential emergencies.

Provide First Aid

The Provide First Aid course aims to equip individuals with the fundamental first aid skills that can be used during common Australian emergencies.

We offer two formats for this Port Adelaide training in first aid – the face-to-face or express online course.

For the face-to-face course, students will attend a comprehensive six-hour class, including the knowledge assessment and practical session in person.

Alternatively, those who prefer to work remotely can register for the express online course and complete the knowledge assessment at home before participating in a two-hour practical session.

This course will give you the knowledge and courage to address various emergencies.

  • HLTAID010- Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
  • HLTAID011- Provide First Aid

Emergency First Aid

The Emergency First Aid course assists individuals working in the childcare or education sectors by focusing on delivering first aid to infants and children.

A knowledge assessment must be passed before the in-person class to ensure students understand first-aid principles before the practical session.

This course offers students two options to choose from. The face-to-face course is a seven-hour class, while the express online course has a total class time of two hours.

Since providing first aid is mandatory for childcare and education workers, this course will form an important part of their professional development.
