Eligibility Criteria For Our White Card Darwin NT Courses
There are no academic requirements or work experience necessary to enrol in our CPCWHS1001 Construction White Card course in Darwin or Palmerston City. All students must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Reside in the Northern Territory
- Students must be 14 years old or older. (Please note: Students under 18 will be required to complete and bring a Parental Consent Form to class)
- Be capable of effective verbal communication by asking questions to clarify instructions and pointing out construction problems or hazards
- Possess basic English literacy skills to read and follow simple pictorial safety instructions and instructions written in English
- Possess basic numeracy skills
- Provide valid identification as per the Evidence of Identity Requirements for the Northern Territory

On the day of their training course, students must allow for a photo to be taken, including their head, neck, and shoulders.

White Card NT Delivery Method
Our NT White Card course is conducted entirely in-person via classroom practical training. Our general construction induction training program lasts only one (1) day, from 9am to 4:30pm, at the end of which students will have classroom assessment components including written, oral, and practical demonstrations.
Upon successful completion of this WHS induction course students are awarded their nationally recognised statement of attainment.
NT White Card Course Fees & Payment Options
Our construction induction card training course in Northern Territory is available to all students for a simple, one time fee of only from $125 (may vary). There is no additional cost to receive your white card at the end of the course.

Is This An Online White Card Course?
No, there is no online training in this course. Our white card course consists of a face-to-face training session that will ensure you have the practical skills and knowledge for construction work. This session includes all theoretical training and assessment components students have to complete.
Who Needs a White Card?
In Australia all individuals who perform construction work must have a white card. This applies to site managers, supervisors, surveyors, tradespeople, and laborers. This is a legal obligation which aims to promote a safe working environment and minimize the chances of accidents occurring on construction sites.
How do I get a replacement white card?
If your white card is lost or damaged you can request a replacement card by contacting us. Depending on where you are located, the following applies:
- South Australia – Contact us for a replacement. A $50 fee applies.
- Northern Territory – You must apply directly with the NT Government within 60 days of course completion. Visit this link for more information.
If you are located in the Northern Territory and do not apply for your replacement White Card from your state government within 60 days of course completion, you will require a letter from First Aid Pro stating that you have completed the course to apply. *Please Note: We will issue a letter for students only up to 4 months after the completion of the white card course. If over 4 months have lapsed, you will be required to attend the White Card Course again at full price.
