Online First Aid Course
This approach trains suits students who are more comfortable with learning online. We deliver the content and assessment via Vasto, our online learning system. You can complete the online component at your own pace in a convenient location that you feel most comfortable – home, office or wherever! Then just hop into your nearest training venue for a quick 2-hour practice session.
Face-to-face First Aid Course
Our trainers will be present in the training room with you. You should prepare for this course by completing a pre-course reading and taking a quiz to ensure you understand what is expected of each section. During our practical sessions, we’ll make the most of your time sharing feedback and asking questions so that everyone leaves with plenty of information to help out in real emergencies.
Same Day First Aid Certificate
The HLTIAID011 Provide First Aid, the HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support, and the HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation qualification can be proved by downloading your nationally recognised statement of attainment straight from your student portal when you finish.

First Aid Training Course Requirements
In order to meet all of the course requirements of the First Aid Course, participants must:
Be able to read, interpret and apply various first aid guidelines and protocols
Be able to complete written first aid incident reports and reviews
Be able to verbally communicate with casualties, emergency services, by-standers and other relevant stakeholders
Can physically perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CRP) (5 cycles of both compressions and ventilations) on a CPR manikin placed on the floor and operate an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Be at least 14 years of age. If you are under 18 years of age, you need to present the enrolment form signed by a parent or guardian.
USI (Unique Student Identifier) must be provided when undertaking nationally recognised training to be issued with a First Aid Certificate qualification.
Complete pre-course reading and a short quiz. The time taken to complete the quiz often varies based on your prior knowledge, experience and learning.
