Our free HLTAID009 CPR course delivers essential cardiopulmonary resuscitation training in full compliance with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. This free CPR course combines flexible online theory learning with a 1.5 hour face-to-face practical assessment, ensuring you develop comprehensive CPR skills under expert supervision.
CPR is a critical life-saving technique that dramatically improves survival outcomes during cardiac emergencies. Our nationally recognised free CPR training equips you with thorough knowledge through interactive online modules and hands-on skills practice, so you can confidently perform effective CPR and correctly operate an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) when every second counts.

Blended Free First Aid Course (HLTAID011)
Our free HLTAID011 first aid course provides comprehensive training in emergency first aid response. This flexible free first aid training combines online theory with 3-hour face-to-face practical session, giving you the confidence and competence to respond effectively in medical emergencies.
From workplace incidents to community emergencies, our free first aid course covers essential skills including CPR, wound management, fracture treatment, burns care, asthma, anaphylaxis and more. You’ll learn how to assess a variety of first aid situations, perform cardiopulomnary resuscitation, operate an AED, provide appropriate care, and manage casualties until professional help arrives.

Free First Aid Course Eligibility & Enrolment
Our free charity first aid courses and free CPR classes have no formal academic requirements, making them accessible to everyone. However, participants must meet the following criteria:
Age & USI Requirements:
- Must be at least 14 years old (participants under 18 require a signed parental/guardian consent form)
- Have a valid USI (Unique Student Identifier) for certification issuance
- Basic computer skills and internet access for online learning modules
- Email address for course access and digital certificate delivery
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Requirements:
- Complete incident reports accurately
- Provide effective, assertive communication in emergency scenarios
- Understand Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines
- Follow spoken instructions and count to 30 for CPR compression timing
Physical Requirements For Practical Assessment:
- Ability to perform uninterrupted CPR on an adult manikin for at least 2 minutes while kneeling on the floor
- Demonstrate the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Participate in practical scenarios and assessments
Pre-Course Requirements:
- Complete all online pre-course theory modules before attending your practical session
- Pass online knowledge assessment (unlimited attempts allowed)

LIVIN was founded in 2013 in loving memory of their close friend, Dwayne Lally. Dwayne took his life after living in silence with a mental illness, a story that resonates with too many.
