If you’re weighing up First Aid Pro vs NWCC for your White Card in Adelaide, here’s the good news: you’ll walk away with the same card. We and National White Card Courses (NWCC) are both Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). We both deliver the same nationally recognised unit, CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry.
So the real choice comes down to venue, day, price and guarantees. This is a dated, factual comparison based on what each provider published on 12 October 2026. We’ve been upfront about where NWCC comes out ahead.
Key Takeaways
- Both providers deliver CPCWHS1001, so our CPCWHS1001 White Card course and NWCC’s lead to the same nationally recognised card.
- NWCC runs one Adelaide CBD venue on North Terrace, mainly on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, at $89 (observed 12 October 2026).
- Our SA White Card schedule (observed 12 October 2026) lists four Adelaide-area venues, some CBD Saturdays and $125 standard pricing, plus a price-beat guarantee.
- Both providers say their Adelaide courses are fully face-to-face and issue the card on the day, though our same-day card applies on weekdays only.
- Before you book any provider, look up its RTO code on training.gov.au and confirm CPCWHS1001 is on its scope.
The Short Answer
Here’s a quick decision framework for your White Card Adelaide booking:
- Choose NWCC if you want a CBD venue on a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday at its listed $89 price.
- Choose First Aid Pro if you need a northern, southern or western suburbs venue, or a Saturday session.
- Choose First Aid Pro if you’d like us to beat a competitor’s listed price on an equivalent White Card course.
Either way, you’ll complete the same unit and receive a nationally recognised card. The rest comes down to which day and location fit your week.

What’s the Same: The Card Itself
Whichever provider you book, the qualification is identical. Your White Card comes from completing CPCWHS1001 on training.gov.au, Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
Here’s what SafeWork SA’s White Card page sets out for White Card SA holders:
- Your training RTO issues the card. SafeWork SA doesn’t issue White Cards or replacements, so contact your issuing RTO if you lose yours.
- Your card stays valid while you’ve worked in the construction industry within the last 2 years.
- You must carry your card with you on site.
- RTOs that want to issue White Cards are invited to apply through SafeWork SA.
Your card is recognised across Australia under the harmonised WHS framework. General construction induction training is covered in the model WHS Regulations (Part 6.5).
In our training rooms, many people assume SafeWork SA issues the card. It doesn’t, which is why your choice of RTO matters if you ever need a replacement. If it’s been a while since you worked on site, read our guide on whether White Cards expire.

Where the Two Providers Differ
The card is the same, but the booking experience isn’t. Here’s how venues, price, the course day and guarantees compare.
Venues and Session Days
For most people, location is the biggest practical difference.
NWCC runs a single Adelaide venue at Level 3/144 North Terrace, about 50 m from Adelaide Railway Station. We found no other NWCC venue in SA.
We run four Adelaide-area venues for our White Card course Adelaide sessions, as listed on our SA White Card schedule, observed 12 October 2026:
- Adelaide CBD, 50 King William Street
- Salisbury, Level 1, Unit 6/89 John Street
- Morphett Vale, Unit 4/20 Taylors Avenue
- Port Adelaide, Krystal function venue
Across our SA venues, we run roughly 2–4 sessions a week. White Card Salisbury sessions usually run on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you need a White Card Saturday Adelaide option, our SA White Card schedule (observed 12 October 2026) lists CBD Saturday sessions on 31 October and 14 November 2026.
NWCC’s October–November 2026 schedule showed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday sessions, with no weekends. Friday sessions also appeared on earlier 2026 schedule snapshots. For venue details and directions, see our Adelaide White Card training page.
Price and the Price-Beat Guarantee
On listed price, NWCC is ahead. On 12 October 2026, every listed NWCC Adelaide session was $89.
On our SA White Card schedule, observed 12 October 2026, our standard price was $125. One session was listed at $99 (Morphett Vale, Thursday 12 November 2026).
NWCC’s price has also moved during 2026. On earlier 2026 schedule snapshots (April–May), it listed $99, so check the live White Card course Adelaide price when you book.
This is where our price-beat guarantee comes in. We’ll beat any competitor’s price on an equivalent White Card course. You don’t have to choose between the lower listing and the venue or day you prefer.
If you’re searching for the cheapest White Card in Adelaide, compare the listed prices first. Then see how our Instant Price Beat works before you pay. We didn’t see a price-beat guarantee on NWCC’s Adelaide course page when we checked on 12 October 2026.
Course Day and Card Issuance
Both courses run over one day. Our course runs for 6 hours, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. NWCC lists “6 hours + breaks”, running from 9:00am to 3:30pm, so its day finishes 30 minutes later.
Both providers say you get your card on the day. NWCC says you “Get the White Card immediately after class”. South Australian students who complete our course receive their card the same day* (weekdays only; T&Cs apply).
Our same-day card doesn’t apply to weekend sessions. If you book a Saturday class and need your card for a Monday start, talk to us about timing first. If a same day White Card in Adelaide is your top priority, book a weekday session with either provider.
Guarantees and Booking Flexibility
NWCC states “Pass or we give you a full refund” and “Change or cancel anytime”, with terms applying. We haven’t reviewed NWCC’s terms, so read them before you book.
Our main guarantee is the price-beat on an equivalent White Card course. With any provider, check the refund, transfer and cancellation conditions in its own terms. A few minutes with the fine print saves surprises if your start date moves.

Can You Do Your White Card Online in SA?
Both providers deliver their Adelaide White Card course face-to-face, and that’s each provider’s own choice. We say our course is “delivered entirely face-to-face in a classroom setting”. NWCC states “100% face-to-face” delivery for its Adelaide course (observed 12 October 2026). We haven’t reviewed its delivery in other states.
SafeWork SA’s White Card page (linked above) invites RTOs that want to issue White Cards to apply through SafeWork SA. It doesn’t set out a delivery mode.
So your key check is that your RTO is listed on training.gov.au with CPCWHS1001 on its scope. Also confirm with your employer that the course meets their site requirements. For more detail, read our guide on doing your White Card online.
How to Check Any White Card Provider in 60 Seconds
You can vet any provider, including us, in about a minute:
- Search the RTO code on training.gov.au. We’re listed on training.gov.au as RTO 31124, so you can start with First Aid Pro’s RTO record.

- Have your USI ready. It’s a 10-character code you can create on the Unique Student Identifier website.

Which Should You Book?
Both providers offer a solid path to the same card, so pick the one whose venue, day and price fit you. Choose NWCC for a CBD weekday class at its $89 listed price. Choose us for Salisbury, Morphett Vale, Port Adelaide, a CBD Saturday or a beaten price.
Before you book a course:
- Pick your venue and date on our SA schedule.
- Have your USI and photo ID ready.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is First Aid Pro or NWCC cheaper for a White Card in Adelaide?
On 12 October 2026, NWCC listed its Adelaide sessions at $89, while our SA White Card schedule showed $125 standard and one $99 session. NWCC listed $99 on earlier 2026 schedule snapshots, so prices change. If you find a lower price on an equivalent White Card course, ask us to beat it under our price-beat guarantee.
Is an NWCC White Card the same as a First Aid Pro White Card?
Yes. Both cards come from completing the same nationally recognised unit, CPCWHS1001, through a registered training organisation. You can confirm the unit and each provider’s registration on training.gov.au.
Does SafeWork SA issue the White Card?
No. SafeWork SA’s White Card page invites RTOs that want to issue White Cards to apply through SafeWork SA, and the RTO that trained you issues your card. If you lose it, contact that RTO for a replacement, because SafeWork SA doesn’t issue replacement cards.
Can I get my White Card on the same day in Adelaide?
Yes, both providers say they issue cards on the day. NWCC says you receive the card immediately after class. Our same-day card for South Australian students applies on weekdays only, so weekend bookings won’t receive it on the day.
Does a White Card expire in South Australia?
According to SafeWork SA, your card stays valid as long as you maintain your competencies. In practice, that means you’ve worked in the construction industry within the last 2 years. If you haven’t, talk to an RTO about retraining before you return to site.
How do I check if a White Card provider is a registered RTO?
Search the provider’s RTO code on training.gov.au and check its status, legal name and scope. For example, First Aid Pro is RTO 31124 and NWCC (National Courses Pty Ltd) is RTO 41072. Make sure CPCWHS1001 appears on the provider’s scope before you book.
