  11. Getting Your First Aid Training Certificates

  12. When do I receive my first aid certificate?

After successful completion of the course, you will usually receive your Nationally Recognised Training first aid certificate on the same day as your first aid course is completed, in some circumstances this may be the next business day if a weekend course is attended. The certificate comes as a PDF emailed to you, provided your payment for your first aid course and your USI details have been verified and paid prior to course commencement. Should you require a full colour paper copy of your certificate posted to you, you can contact our office and for a fee it will be posted via Australia Post. Read more Certificate Terms & Conditions.

  13. What is a USI and how do I get one?

Your Unique Student Identifier (USI) will contain all your nationally recognised training records and results from January 1 2015 onwards. Think of it like your tax file number or CRN, this is a unique number you are allocated for life and is used to track your training and helps you find evidence of all training you completed since January 1 2015. You need to have a USI for you to be able to enroll in any accredited training course in Australia, including FirstAidPro courses. Ensuring you provide your USI information upon enrolment either over the phone or online will also ensure you receive your certificate on time.

Applying for your own USI number is relatively easy to complete, and should only take a few minutes via the Australian Government website. Be aware this process is external to FirstAidPro and is a government mandatory requirement for anyone in Australia attending accredited training, this is not something FirstAidPro staff can complete. You can apply for your Unique Student Identifier here. Step by step instructions on how to gain your USI number can be downloaded by clicking HERE or video training HERE.

  14. How do I get a Wallet Card certificate and reprint for lost or damaged certificates?

Wallet cards are recognised on many work sites, and are a convenient way to carry your certification at all times should you be asked to produce it. Wallet Cards can be purchased on the day of the class, cost is $5 per card. If you decide you require a Printed Certificate, these are also available for an extra $12 which includes postage. We ship our certificates/wallet cards through Australia Post, and this can take up to two weeks due to a number of factors out of our control. These can be purchased in the class or you can phone 08 7120 2570 to order or email courses@firstaidpro.com.au to arrange this.

Client Testimonials

  • Good afternoon,

My name is Jessica and I attended my Provide First Aid and CPR courses at Morphett Vale earlier today. I am leaving this feedback to commend your trainer (I think his name was James). He was absolutely fantastic! I have social anxiety which made me nervous to attend this morning, but I have walked out of my training session this afternoon with only appreciation. Your trainer made the course interesting, fun and comfortable - which isn't always easy in a classroom environment! I would very much appreciate it if this feedback made its way to James and if there is any way in which your organisation rewards positive feedback/excellence, I would love for him to be commended as he absolutely deserves it. I am not typically the type of person to send any feedback (positive or negative) but I felt compelled to make an exception in this case. I will be recommending your agency to others, and will be back myself in 12 months for my CPR refresher!

A huge thank you once again,
    Jessica

  • Just wanted to provide some feedback,

I found Friday’s session very good, the facilitator was great, he knew his stuff and made everyone feel at ease, most enjoyable. I have also received feedback from 1 staff person who attended at Salisbury and 1 staff member who attended at Hewett, both said the same thing, they really got a lot out of it.

  • Good afternoon,

I just wanted to give some feedback in relations to the three employees we sent to the Low Voltage Rescue & CPR course the other week in the CBD.

Our employees really enjoyed the interactive training and facility provided. All three took home something new from this day.

  • Did the First Aid and CPR course at Marion Hotel yesterday. The trainer was exceptional and learnt more about first aid than all my previous courses that I have attended. Very professional and interactive that provided confidence in doing the practical CPR and trauma bandaging. Recommend these professionals to anyone needing first aid certification. Cheers.
